SLIDE SHOW

Jack Nicholson gave the world the popular name for the arched eyebrows that are a frequent side effect of Botox injections. They’re called “Joker eyebrows,” after the villain he played in the 1989 movie “Batman.”

This slide show features 13 celebrities and characters with noteworthy eyebrows — some Botox-induced, some not.

First is Kate Gosselin, the celebrity whose eyebrows most recently incited suspicions that she had her forehead injected with Botox.  Also in the slide show:

  • Jack Nicholson, of course.
  • Heath Ledger
  • Al Pacino
  • Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock in “Star Trek”
  • Cruella de Vil from the animated movie “101 Dalmatians”
  • Nicole Kidman
  • Al Gore
  • Jessica Lange
  • Vanessa Williams
  • David Beckham
  • Helena Bonham Carter
  • Stevie Nicks, who hated what Botox did to her eyebrows.
